Aloha
About Keauhou #111
Allow us to share the meaning of Aloha...
We have all heard the word aloha many times - around the islands, on television and even back in your home town. Here in Hawai'i, it's a word we use every day for a number of reasons. While the common use is to greet or say goodbye to someone, aloha also means peace, love and many other beautiful things.
To truly define the word, it's helpful to break it up into its parts:
Alo - Presence Ha - Divine Breath
Among traditional Hawaiians, aloha is often exchanged upon greeting by touching foreheads together, and breathing in each other's ha, or divine breath. Essentially, this is a brief exchange of life and love between two people.
Here at Keauhou Resort #111, we live aloha everyday - with you, our guests, with each other, with our family, and throughout our community. This is truly what makes the experience, emotions, and memories of our Hawaiian condo so special.
When you say aloha, take the joy in knowing you are sharing life and love. Aloha cannot be taught, it can only be shared and you can take it home with you.
We'd love to hear from you via our contact page or on our Social Media channels.
We hope you enjoy your stay, that is both relaxing and memorable.
Aloha,
Jeni & Vince
